About SIFA
 
SIFA is a registered non-profit organization established in California in 1979. Over the years, SIFA has presented leading Carnatic music and dance performances to the San Francisco Bay Area. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, SIFA is a member supported organization driven by enthusiastic volunteers and community supporters. The organization is governed by an Executive Committee, which is elected for a period of one year during SIFA's annual Thyagaraja Day Program.
 
SIFA caters to all residents of the San Francisco Bay Area interested in South Indian fine arts. Our regular concert events draw a diverse group of individuals. Contributions from SIFA sponsors and well-wishers, which help the organization plan and execute on current and future events, receive the benefit of having reserved seating at SIFA events at discounted ticket prices.
