Artist Information Kallidaikuruchi S. Sivakumar hails from a family of musicians. Sivakumar had a keen interest in laya from the young age of five. Initially, he was under the tutelage of Sri S. Vaidhyanathan. Sivakumar later had further advanced training from Padmasri Palghat Raghu. Sivakumar is an A grade artist of the AIR and has performed in all leading sabhas all over India. He has been the recipient of many awards and honors. Sivakumar has accompanied leading artists such as N. Ravikiran, Charumathi Ramachandran, Hyderabad Sisters and others
