Artist Information K.P. Ramesh Babu is a disciple of Karaikudi R. Mani.  Ramesh received his early training from his father who conducts an Art Institute in Kerala.  With a few varieties of drums he can produce any of the myriad percussion sounds in Indian music.  Ramesh has been accompanying leading dancers and musicians on TV and stage.
