Artist Information Jayshankar hails from a family of musicians. He learnt violin from Alamelu Subramanian, T.S.Krishnaswamy and N.S.Chandrashekaran in Bombay. Presently he is under the guidance of Madurai Sundar, who is a prime disciple of Shri T.N Seshagopolan. He has accompanied major stalwards in India, including Shri T.N.Seshagopalan, Trichur Ramachadran, Nedunuri Krishnamoorthy, T.R. Subramanian, Dr Jesudas, Ravi Kiran, Neyveli Santhanam and others. He was invited to perform at the United Nations in Paris for the last UN meeting of the century in 1999 along with Dr Yesudas.He is a graded artist of AIR and has represented India in major culturalfestivals including Festival of India in Russia and Middle East. He holds a Masters in Computer Science, MBA in international Finance and is settled in Michigan.
