Artist Information Smt. Lalgudi R. Rajalakshmi is the daughter of the late vidwan V.R. Gopala Iyer under whom she had her early training in violin playing. Later, she came under the guidance of her illustrious brother, Sri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. As an accompanist, Smt. Rajalakshmi has over 30 years of experience and has accompanied all leading artists at important centers all over India. She has also given concerts with her sister Smt. Srimathi Brahmanandam at many centers in India and abroad.
