Artist Information R.K.Sriramkumar had his early training from his grandfather, R.K.Venkataramana Sastri. He also had vocal music training with the late Sri. D.K. Jayaraman. He then received guidance from Sri.V.V.Subramaniam. He is a much sought-after violinist today. Sriramkumar has performed with all the stalwarts of Carnatic music and has travelled extensively. He has received several prizes and endowments from prestigious musical institutions.   R.K.Shriramkumar trained from his grandfather R.K. Venkataramana Sastri, and is now under the guidance of Sri. V.V. Subramanyam. He has also a vocal training from Sri.D.K. Jayaraman. He has accompanied several musicians in concert tours abroad.
