Artist Information T.V. Gopalakrishnan (better known as TVG) is a phenomenon in India's musical world. After earning international recognition as a south Indian classical percussionist, and touring the U.S. with George Harrison and Ravi Shankar, he went on to study and master south Indian vocal music, north Indian classical vocal music, violin and saxophone! TVG is a veteran performer and composer whose innovations have consistently provided "spice" to the Indian music scene. TVG and his group India Kaleidoscope have performed in the Berlin Jazz Festival, The India Festival in Switzerland, and "BLOIS," the festival of contemporary music in France.
