Artist Information Madurai T. N. Seshagopalan is a veteran in Carnatic music. He studied Carnatic music from Ramanathapuram T.S. Sankara Sivam, a great disciple of Harikesanallur Muthiah Bagavathar. Seshagopalan has been pleasing audiences since the age of 7. He served as Assistant Professor of Music at the Madurai University from 1972-78. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at Madras University. Sehagopalan is a reputable composer of music, especially thillanas. He has garnered numerous awards since 1966. His cassettes, CD's and albums are numerous.
