Malladi Sri Rama Prasad and Sri Ravikumar
The Malladi Brothers received their musical training from their father
Sri. Malladi Suri Babu, who himself is a disciple of Sri Voleti Venkateswarulu.
The brothers have sustained a classic and symbolic expression of Carnatic
music, bagging awards from AIR, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha and the Music Academy.
They have received additional training from Snageetha Kalanidhi Sri Pada
Pinakapani and his well-known disciple, Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Sri Nedunuri
Krishnamurthy.
Violin: B.V.Raghavendra Rao
B.V.Raghavendra Rao hails from a distinguished family of musicians. He received early
training from his father B.Sudarsana Rao, and then continued with Guru
Sri Balan, Sri Sangeetham Meerasahib, and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri T.N.
Krishnan. He later received invaluable guidance from Dr. M. Balamurali
Krishna. He has won several awards and his quest for perfection finds its
expression in his instrument.
Mridangam: Neyvelli B. Venkatesh
Neyvelli B.Venkatesh received his initial training from his father, Sri. S.
Balaraman, and then his advanced training from Sri Ramanthapuram M.N. Kandaswamy
Pillai and Sri. P.P.Venkatesan.. He is an A-grade artist with AIRin Mridangam.
In 1986, he set arecord for playing the mridangam continuously for 28 hours.
He has traveled widely and played with several famous musicians.
